Two of Iceland’s biggest music stars, Bjork and Sigur Rós, are to play together in Reykjavík on 28th June. The concert will be held in Laugardalur Valley, a park area just outside Reykjavík city centre. Entrance to the concert will be free.

"Get the Idea" is a new marketing concept and campaign run by Visit Reykjavík and the Icelandic Board focused on the MICE market. The basic Idea behind the concept is that Reykjavík, Iceland is a place where opposites meet, where creativity is at work, a place where people get ideas.

Blue Lagoon and Hreyfing, fitness, have opened a joint fitness and Blue Lagoon spa in Reykjavík, the first of its kind. Until now spa treatments based on the unique active Blue Lagoon ingredients have only been available at the Blue Lagoon itself.
